Mountain Biking at FATS - November 15, 2025

Enjoy a day of Mountain Biking with Southern Adventures at Forks Area Trail System (FATS). No experience or equipment required! The Southern Adventures will provide equipment, lunch, and biking instructions.

This trip is a day trip that occurs on Saturday, November 15th.

Trips are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Active health insurance is necessary for trip participation.

Visit the Southern Adventures' website to download the necessary forms (medical form and informed consent form).

Cancellation Policies: Full refunds will be provided for deposit required trips if the participant cancels within two weeks of the trip date. If a participant cancels within two weeks of a deposit required trip date, then they will be eligible to receive a refund minus the deposit cost. Trip cancellations, that occur less than two weeks from the trip date, and no shows will not be eligible for refunds. Please contact Brett Ballinger (bballinger@georgiasouthern.edu) if you need to cancel a trip.

Wait-list Policies: In the event of a trip spot becoming available, the first individual on the wait-list will be notified. Upon notification, the individual has 24 hours to register for the trip, or they will forfeit their opportunity to the next individual on the list. Contact Brett Ballinger to be placed on a wait-list.

Pre-trip Meetings: Pre-trip meetings will occur the Monday or Tuesday prior to the trip date. All forms (medical forms, activity consent forms, and applicable outfitter consent forms) will be due at this time. This time is utilized to address questions, introduce participants to the trip leaders and other participants, and to go over all necessary trip plans. These meetings are mandatory and the individual is responsible for scheduling a make up meeting with the trip leaders prior to leaving on the trip.
