Fire Building (Backcountry Week) - 5-7pm - October 8, 2025

Participants will learn to construct a fire using only materials found in the forest; light the fire using a ferro rod; incorporate Leave No Trace principles into their fire building.

This clinic will take place October 8th from 5-7pm and will begin at Southern Adventures.

Clinics are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Wait-list Policies: In the event of a clinic spot becoming available, the first individual on the wait-list will be notified. Upon notification, the individual has 24 hours to register for the clinic, or they will forfeit their opportunity to the next individual on the list. Contact southernadventures@georgiasouthern.edu to be placed on a wait-list.

Participants need to bring their Eagle ID card to the clinic to confirm identity.
