Basic Sea Kayaking Clinic - 6-9pm - March 31, 2026

Participants will be introduced to the knowledge and skills necessary to confidently use sea kayaks in non-technical waters. The clinic will include learning how to safely enter and exit your boat, perform solo and partner rescues, understand nautical terminology, learn about tides and other environmental considerations, and perform basic paddle strokes. If you complete 3 clinics in a semester, you will receive a Southern Adventures sticker!

This clinic will take place March 31 from 6-9pm and will begin at Southern Adventures. 

Clinics are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cancellation Policies: Please contact southernadventures@georgiasouthern.edu if you need to cancel a clinic.

Wait-list Policies: In the event of a clinic spot becoming available, the first individual on the wait-list will be notified. Upon notification, the individual has 24 hours to register for the clinic, or they will forfeit their opportunity to the next individual on the list. Contact southernadventures@georgiasouthern.edu to be placed on a wait-list.

Participants need to bring their Eagle ID card to the clinic to confirm identity.
