Enjoy a weekend of canoeing and camping along the sandbar banks of the Altamaha River with Southern Adventures. No experience or equipment required! The Southern Adventures will provide equipment, food, transportation, and paddling instructions.
This weekend trip is leaving Friday (Oct. 10) and returning Sunday (Oct. 12).
Active health insurance is necessary for trip participation.

Wait-list Policies:
In the event of a trip spot becoming available, the first individual on the wait-list will be notified. Upon notification, the individual has 24 hours to register for the trip, or they will forfeit their opportunity to the next individual on the list. Contact southernadventures@georgiasouthern.edu to be placed on a wait-list.
Faculty & Staff Policy
: Southern Adventures Trips are a student-first activity at CRI. If any faculty/staff members are interested in joining an adventure trip, please email southernadventures@georgiasouthern.edu to be placed on the faculty/staff wait list for the specific trip(s) they are interested in attending. One week prior to the trip departure date, if spots remain available, we will contact individuals on the faculty/staff waitlist in order of request. Once confirmed, Southern Adventures will send a registration link that will add a premium to the cost of registration.
Pre-trip Meetings:
Pre-trip meetings will occur a week prior to the trip date. All forms (medical forms, activity consent forms, and applicable outfitter consent forms) will be due at this time. This time is utilized to fit participants for gear, provide any necessary clinics, address questions, and introduce participants to the trip leaders and other participants. These meetings are mandatory and the individual is responsible for scheduling a make-up meeting with the trip leaders prior to leaving on the trip.
Participants need to bring their Eagle ID card to the pre-trip meeting to confirm identity.
