2/20/2024 - Climbing Anchor Building and Cleaning

A clinic geared toward intermediate to advanced climbers that teaches participants how to transition their indoor climbing knowledge to the outdoors. In this clinic participants will learn the basic gear they will need to climb outside, the extra safety concerns under a cliff, and how to clean an anchor to retrieve their gear. If you have been climbing for a while and want to get outside but are not sure where to begin, take this clinic. Gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence to climb outside.

This clinic will take place Feb 20th from 7pm-9pm and begins at Southern Adventures.

Clinics are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cancellation Policies: Please contact southernadventures@georgiasouthern.edu if you need to cancel a clinic.

Wait-list Policies: In the event of a clinic spot becoming available, the first individual on the wait-list will be notified. Upon notification, the individual has 24 hours to register for the clinic, or they will forfeit their opportunity to the next individual on the list. Contact southernadventures@georgiasouthern.edu to be placed on a wait-list.

Participants need to bring their Eagle ID card to the clinic to confirm identity.
