Backcountry Cooking Clinic - 5-7pm - March 24, 2026

In this clinic you will learn how to prepare hot meals in a backcountry setting. You will be taught how to properly use an MSR Whisperlite stove and prepare delicious food with simple ingredients. Additionally, you will learn how to properly ration and maintain a balanced diet on your next outdoor adventure. If you complete 3 clinics in a semester, you will receive a Southern Adventures sticker!

This clinic will take place March 24th from 5-7pm.

Clinics are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cancellation Policies: Please contact Southern Adventures(SouthernAdventures@georgiasouthern.edu) if you need to cancel a clinic.

Wait-list Policies: In the event of a clinic spot becoming available, the first individual on the wait-list will be notified. Upon notification, the individual has 24 hours to register for the clinic, or they will forfeit their opportunity to the next individual on the list. Contact Southern Adventures (SouthernAdventures@georgiasouthern.edu) to be placed on a wait-list.

Participants need to bring their Eagle ID card to the clinic to confirm identity.
