Advanced Climbing - 7-10pm - Sept. 22nd, 2026

Advanced Climbing is designed to build upon the skills developed in the Beginner Climbing. Participants must have taken a Basic Climbing Clinic at least 30 days prior to registering for the Advanced Clinic, as well as demonstrated intentional development of top rope climbing skill. All participants will be required to demonstrate the ability to climb 5.9 on top rope without falling in order to complete the clinic. Skills topics will review advanced climbing technique, physical training for climbing, and lead belay technique. If you complete 3 skills in a semester, you will receive a Southern Adventures sticker!

This skill session will take place Sept. 22nd from 7-10pm and begins at Southern Adventures.

Skills are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Wait-list Policies: In the event of a skill session spot becoming available, the first individual on the wait-list will be notified. Upon notification, the individual has 24 hours to register for the clinic, or they will forfeit their opportunity to the next individual on the list. Contact southernadventures@georgiasouthern.edu to be placed on a wait-list.

Participants need to bring their Eagle ID card to the clinic to confirm identity.
