Discover the remarkable edible and medicinal plants growing all around us in Georgia’s forests and fields. Learn the basics of safe, responsible foraging from local expert, Era Pope, while exploring the rich traditions and practical uses of native plants.

Finish with a tasting of locally crafted muscadine wine by Three Star Vineyard and Orchard, celebrating another of the South’s most iconic wild harvests. 

Speakers:

• Era Pope, MA, DipAC, LAc - a licensed acupuncturist operating Glowpoint Acupuncture in Bluffton, SC, and graduate of Jung Toa School of Chinese Medicine, Era has been an herbalist for many years, and provides treatments at the Holistic Wellness & Detox Center.

• Three Star Vineyard and Orchard located in Johnston, South Carolina. This 100 acre hidden gem features a beautiful muscadine and scuppernong vineyard. Family owned and operated for more than 30 years, they are the largest grower and shipper in SC of these iconic native grapes.
